About
Working as a consultant for candidates, Ezra has focused on getting the campaign organized with a campaign and fundraising plan, targeting research, message development and an effective grassroots strategy for fundraising and field operations. Clients have included candidates for Seattle City Council, Seattle School Board, Seattle Port Commission, and Washington State Legislature. With issue campaigns, Ezra has created speakers bureaus, recruited and trained hundreds of volunteers and volunteer teams, and launched highly successful field operations on the phone, at the door and in the neighborhood. He has orchestrated letter writing campaigns and mobilized communities for grassroots lobbying. Campaigns include the 2000 Seattle Pro Parks Campaign, the 2001 Schools First Campaign, and the 2002 Bellevue Parks Campaign. Ezra also works in non-profit fundraising, currently as the development coordinator for The Positive Futures Network, publishers of YES! magazine. Previously he worked on the Lake City Summer Festival as the sponsorship fundraiser, publicist, and festival consultant for the 2002 and 2003 events, and on the Rainer Valley Heritage Festival as the festival organizer in 1999 and as the festival consultant in 2000. Ezra worked as the legislative assistant to Washington State Representative Ed Murray for parts of 1999 and 2000. He has a degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University. He is a lifelong Seattle resident and currently lives in the Fremont neighborhood. He is the father of two energetic kids, Eli age 6, and Max age 4. |
